How it all started

Move To Prague began in 2012 with two people, one small office, and a simple belief: immigration services could be more human.

When Jan and Daria started the company, they weren't trying to build the biggest visa agency in the Czech Republic. They wanted to create the kind of support they believed people deserved when starting a new life in a foreign country.

For Daria, the mission was personal. Having moved to the Czech Republic herself as a teenager, she understood firsthand what it feels like to navigate a new culture, a new language, unfamiliar systems, and all the uncertainty that comes with building a life from scratch. What started as a small project between two young founders grew through trust, word of mouth, and a genuine desire to help people succeed.

Today, Move To Prague is one of the Czech Republic's leading premium relocation and immigration companies. Our team has grown to around 12 specialists, our offices overlook Prague Castle in the heart of Prague, and we have helped more than 23,000 people from all over the world make the Czech Republic their home.

But numbers have never been what matters most to us. What matters are the stories behind them. Over the years, we have welcomed students, entrepreneurs, families, freelancers, employees, investors, and dreamers from more than 120 countries. We have watched people arrive with a suitcase and an idea, only to build thriving businesses, successful careers, and meaningful lives here.

Some of the people we helped relocate more than a decade ago are now raising children in the Czech Republic. Those children attend Czech schools, speak Czech better than their parents, and call this country home.

Being a small part of those journeys is a privilege we never take for granted.

As a family navigating relocation with a baby, we're really happy with the support and advice we received from both Daria and Jan while getting our visas sorted. Daria was with us every step of the way. She's very knowledgeable about visa processes and the bureaucracy involved and answered all of our questions. Moving from the UK after Brexit, my partner and I were lost, facing a lack of information on what was needed in our application to move to Czechia. Even before we became a client, Jan answered all our questions and helped us understand what was needed for the application. Amazing service! They sorted out my boyfriend's temporary residency situation. Typically, a temporary residency is done through partners/spouses, but we did through out son (who is also czech). Before using"Move to prague", we had an immigration lawyer, who gave us no proper updates or the next steps we should take to my boyfriend's situation after waiting over a year for our temporary residency. Then we decided to contact another immigration service, who said our situation was somewhat complicated so they didn't want to deal with it. Thank God, we stumbled upon Jan and move to prague, who is very responsive and tried to understand our situation and how to solve it properly. Petra was also amazing in accompanying us to the MOI and just dealing with the workers, who didn't even know the laws themselves (e.g., you don't need a verified signature for the proof of accommodation when you're applying for temporary residency). Besides that, they sent multiple letters of urgency to speed up the process for us, so finally after almost 2 years, my boyfriend got his temporary residency and we can be united as a family :)! Lastly, the service itself was not crazy expensive either compared to other agencies, so I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
