Privacy Policy

We (see legal information about the company here) have always taken great care of your personal data and have never shared them with anyone (except authorities such as trade license office when making you a trade license, etc.). On May 25th 2018, things became almost surreal though when the new EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) directive became effective meaning that we need your separate consent for each use of your personal data from now on. We also have to inform you in detail about what data we use, for what purpose, for how long, and what your rights are in regards to your personal data, etc.

We assume 90% of you will never read this… but for those of you who came here and who are really interested in knowing more about your data protection (which is great by the way), here you go:

We consider you contacting us through the contact form, phone, e-mail, skype, in person or by any other means of communication as an act of your interest in knowing more about the services we provide and eventually also your interest in purchasing some of the services. By contacting us, you agree with us using the following data:

In relation to our services:

What data will we collect and store?
– Mainly your full name, your date of birth, nationality, and a copy of your passport
– Any data given during the case we solve together (i.e. your residence address, your Czech trade license number, Czech social security number, Czech health care number, etc.)
– Any information you provide and that is relevant to the case we are solving with you (i.e. number of kids, recent address of residence, etc.)

What data do we not collect and store?
– We do not store information about your race, sexuality, political preference, nor any other sensitive data.

What do we use your data for?
–
We use the data you provided to get back to you regarding the inquiry you submitted
– We then use your data in relation to the case you hired us for (i.e. to help you collect all the documents required for a long-term visa, long-term residence or a permanent residence permit, etc.)
– We also use the information about the validity of your visa or your lease agreement in order to remind you that your visa/lease agreement is expiring and that you should extend it if you wish to stay in the Czech Republic.

How long do we store your data for?
– We store and can use your data until you leave Prague – if we did not do that, we would have to ask you about everything again with every new case we go through with you. We also would not be able to check with authorities about your social security or health care.
– We can store your data for an additional time (after you left Prague) as long as it is reasonable (i.e. we have to deregister you from the social security, health care, trade office, etc.) and this is not possible without using your personal data. Also, any complaints you may want to submit later on would not be solvable if we did not store some of your personal data. We always store only the data relevant to the purpose of it’s use (i.e. if we need to deregister you from the social security, we do not need to store information about your husband). The reasonable time to store your data is no longer than 2 years after you have left the Czech Republic.
